They don't seem to realize that even if the soft sci-fi somehow doesn't have a way to track and detect RKVs at the moment, they've got thousands of fucking years to figure it out. Not exactly much of a threat there, even if all the tech and math stuff others have brought up were somehow nonissues.

And the annoying thing is I went into a big long effortpost trying to explain this. It just got ignored.

And it's not like dude didn't read my post, he even quoted some of it. Just not my whole timeline argument.

Others like Stark have picked up on it, but yeah. The "space rocks of DOOM" thing is just so damn silly in the whole hard vs soft debate...
