I'm confused though. Didn't they pretty much state that Apollo was Solar Wing in the original series? If not, why did Sylvie end up falling for him? I remember something in the last ep about them being a pair of souls that keep meeting and falling in love throughout the ages in an epic cycle of reincarnation or something.

I need to check the original series a bit more but some people pointed out that Touma says Apollo is not the whole reincarnation of Apollonius. Something about Apollonius being more than that.

No I thought they wouldn't, but that maybe they should have.

I used to love DBZ back in the day, now, not so much. DBZ, gundam, and Robotech were my bread and butter. Used to watch them on Toonami every day after school. Obviously, I will never admit to having watched an episode of sailor moon

I fucking will. I remember it was on early Saturday morning on USA Cartoon Express, it came on right after Mighty Max and before Gargoyles and Street Sharks. I watched it every Saturday morning I spent at my Great Grandparents when I was six. Now what? :colbert:

Is it bad though that what we thought was just terrible utter shit back in the day though seems like fucking gold compared to the terrible and awful shit these days?

Except "Doug", hated the fuck out of Doug and still do to this day. Hate Doug more than Spongebob.

TV has gotten both better and incredibly worse.

For example, "Frozen Planet" was an amazing series. But sometimes I am changing channels and I catch a minute or two of "Hardcore Pawn" and realize that for every action there is an equal and opposite pile of steaming shit.

Sure I guess? I don't really do that either. I guess I should say I don't really watch anything new but I hardly watch any old stuff either. I just don't have the patience for it anymore. :v

I'll be honest for a moment I thought episode 24 was the last episode

And that I'd be waiting for a movie for resolution :v

Also Saint Seiya Omega is clearly an apology to girls for all those decades of never having a decent female character in there
