That entire period was like a 'be careful what you wish for' morality play put on by the entire board for DW.

I like that it's still labelled Senate V1.
Is there a sequel coming?

I doubt it, its obvious at this point that he doesn't care about the board beyond the WoT thread.

I don't think he's allowed to do both FB and SDN, so he had to choose and we lost to FB.

Not much of a surprise, there's less drama on FB.

Request to the Administration :
could we get rid of that insular bullshit anti-spambot question when registering ?
Connor got defeated by it when trying to register.

adr is it super worth worrying about spambots since we can just, you know, not activate them

i guess so but that could be a hassle
but since you do most the activation anyway whichever way you prefer

More like I got defeated by my complete and utter obliviousness to the interpersonal dynamics of a forum (any forum.)
Still it only took me like fifteen times trying to enter variations of Stardestroyer.net before I gave up and pm'ed ya back. That counts for something, right?

compute the gigajoules in the explosions within this video
One I got done having seizuers with all the flashing, I figure its probably 1 GIGAJOULE at most. although thats of 'boom' joulage and not burny joulage, so its actually more effective for the given amount of joulage and requires far less ice to tend (although you might be picking glass fragments out of your eyes.)
It's also possible its not even in the giga-joulage range but only mega-joulage, but since its joulage of the 'bang' variety it could translate into comparable 'burny' joulage, I suppose depending on your conversion factor.
I saw through your little trap AND got to prove Aaron wrong. GO TEAM TECHNICAL!

so the early learning stuff to get ahead in school. if you watch the kids tv you've seen it
my question: why bother? it's one thing if you were going to keep up the pressure throughout but these things are pre-school learning (at best) and then drop off
let's suppose it works as advertised. so your kid is ahead for kindergaten and maybe grade one.... then the regular school catches up to them. so the early lead is quickly surrendered
is that worth anything?

Maybe if you go to a non-public school? Or your public schools are in a good/rich district.

Seeing as young children generally learn by playing, we sent ours to a pre-school/daycare that had lots of activities.
My wifes niece did all that and attends a private school, she's just as dumb as any other 14 year old i've met.
