He had the computer before they got married, and the business he runs on that thing nets him like $10k / month (unless he's lying about that and is actually in debt up to his eyeballs).


If he was a regular user, I'd agree with all this, but he has legitimate business use for this computer and turns a nice profit with it.

If its for business then he probably got to claim it on his taxes, if the UK is anything like here.
