you know i had a flamewar with shep about how temperature is meaningless when talking about the difficulty of seeing asteroids

and i'm almost completely right with selp being arrogantly wrong

but i just realized the temperature reflects the sunlight it picks up...... high temp is b/c it picks up a lot of sunlight which it also radiates back out

so i guess you could actually say high temperature on a low background means asteroids are easier to see

but that's still not the point i think he was making since the rest of the argument was in context of insulated crew cabins where this doesn't apply

anywho i'm just thinking i might have been a little harsher than i should have been since there kinda is a point there

he's still an idiot tho

Remember kids, poor fishermen who are poaching in an effort to eek out a living and trying to provide for their families = greedy criminals who die doing something stupid.

If you're broken. And I hate humanity with a passion, but some poor African getting eaten alive isn't funny. I mean that dumb middle Easterner should have known better than to be walking around under drone infested skies.

That was the point I was poorly trying to make. Would AD have been as happy if it had been a police raid on a house that killed the guy?

Of course not. But AD is reprehensible. I mean if he got eaten by a shark it would be funny. It's almost a paradox.

A snake would be more appropriate.

People like Romulan Republic are deluding themselves when they say the following: "Nobody deserves to die, let alone die such a horrific death, just because they made a mistake or did something illegal. "

In the case with the South African, I can agree. But let's take a look at one of the most glorious deaths of last year by an act of stupidity: Ryan Dunn. Ryan Dunn just wanted to have fun. So, he drank and drive and met his demise. And given his age and his prevalence of partying, it is not out of line to suggest that he had done it in the past. He also had a record of speeding. His death benefited every person who lived in the area where he would stay and congregate: they are safer. So, yes, some people deserve to die.
