I'm playing Saint's Row III cause it seems I accidentally bought it on Steam and people keep saying it's better than sex. It's fun. I guess.
One thing though: is it just me or is vehicle handling in this game a horrible, laggym gooey mess? Seems like there's half a second between moving the stick and car responding.
They just added 3rd person view which caused a riot about broken promises and dreams.
Lol. They could just do like World of Tanks does and have the mechas have a "spotting" value, sensors line-of-sight, etc..., and only show the enemy mechs that have effectively been spotted, if they're so worried about "looking around corners".
Plus, this would give a real use for scout mechs, spotting red blips on the radar for the rest of the team to pounce on.

I dunno if they want to borrow from WoT when it's probably their biggest competitor or will be once they actually get out of Beta. They're running out of ways to extort money from the faithful.
everyone's still kind of worried that they haven't solved the "all your guns can hit one spot" problem

You know, I've been among those who mocked WoT for its grinding and "pay-to-win" aspects, but for having spent a bit of time on it now, I can say that at least as far as the actual tank battles are concerned the gameplay is pretty solid.
Now on the other hand if you dare playing anything other than Russian tanks you're going to have problems

It kinda baffles me that guy was so surprised people were getting stuck on walls because of torso twisting. In any other game it would be like, "we need to overhaul the controls" but they're so hamstrung by the mechwarrior legacy here.
I remember Gungriffon just has "OBSTACLE" pop up if you hit something
From the critiques I heard, I assume it's a negative sentiment ?

They've totally reversed course on everything that made Far Cry 2 unique and good. I blame internet fatties.

...Pretty sure that's just you. My SR3 behaves with precision and finesse.

This might be the first post of yours I'm completely happy with.

You know, Star Citizen looks pretty damn awesome and I think I'll be playing it.
Did anyone else think it was weird in FF7 how when you got into fights with those Red Shinra guards they suddenly turned into robots?

Seems that just like the last game, SR3 randomly hates certain hardware, especially anything ATI. I also get sound effect lag unless I keep a copy of VLC running in the background.

Heh. I'm grinding the French Light/Medium and Heavy lines. Also have a British Matilda, because that thing is fun to play.

Matilda is peak British tank. It's all downhill after that, but the tank itself is amazing to play.
Well, it was for me, but I like heavily armoured pillbox tanks.
