Actually, I only read the novels (the second out of a sense of curiosity, I guess) and not really played the games.

If there's something you can point to saying it's an AU and thus not "canon" you'll be my favorite Internet person for the next day and a half or so. At least until adr disputes teh gigatons on SDN again, anyway.

Because in the novels there's nothing to indicate AU status at all.

i think the problem is all the EU bullshit can cheapen the overall story of star wars

like at least in gundam they have the decency to create new universes to fuck up

all this convoluted fan stuff that makes its way into official channels can be taxing to long time fans
