there's a surprising amount of smokers that actually deny that smoking is harmful

My stepfather does that, Zod. My mother has been having heart problems and I told her that the smoking doesn't help. IT DOESN'T AFFECT THE HEART NEENER NEENER says the asshole stepfather.

Those people are actually irrelevant

i'm not sure where i'd peg my dad on the shithead scale

he basically gave up trying to talk to me sometime after i turned 13 and i get the impression he'd prefer it if i hadn't happened, but he's more of the upper middle income type

but i can't exactly say he was an abushive dickhole seeing as i hardly ever saw him

plain packaging is supposed to be a step up from taht stuff; there are already limits on how much tobacco shit you can display (i think it's basically none) in stores, peopel have to ask for it

Yeah it was pretty gross when I was a kid, everything restaurants served tasted like smoke.

My mom doesn't believe tobacco causes cancer. She thinks it's all genetics. She is a nurse.

Not just the ad bans, but legislation preventing people from smoking in venues etc

Best part of that was the screeching that it would destroy the hospitality industry, which is didn't

But then I'm used to hearing hospitality industry leaders getting angry at The Man(shoulda seen them comparing Wilkie to Bin Laden at last year's awards night)
