They do that, saddly thier secret heritage has a bit of bite to it.

I somehow can't see this series ending on an overly "happy" note.

There's a line of foreshadowing in one of the episodes, something like "If Maria hadn't been born, so many fewer would've died."

So yeah, probably not a series to cheer one up.

I'd figured it was more to do with the ability to see the world as they grow up? I dunno, I figure if I'm going to be at a boarding school I might as well be at one that visits a new country or city every weekend.
