(now, if you want to wank it up to 11 and drive warsie nuts, you can try begin arguing that there's a whole sexual symbolic around the struggle between the Dark and Light side of the force, between its "masculine" and "feminine" aspects [Logic Vs. Emotion], and the underlying sexism of the series' premise ; and that it is partially translated visually by the phallic symbol of Vader's helmet and by Leia's slave outfit.
Just try and add the Yin and Yang symbolic for bonus points. )

i am usually pretty tuned in to sexism in media but i think you only see a penis in vader's helmet if you are already looking for one
