Pretty sure that's a doujin. Although they did recently do a GuP and WoT crossover promotion.

kinda makes me wonder tho. if the new mechwarrior was set into motion after kickstarter gained enough clout to become a A Thing would they have done that and made a "proper game" instead of trying make a hopelessly broken f2p game that apparently only exists to embezzle money from :hurfhurf:

In Classic Game Room's review of the Retron 3 he joked that they should add more catrigde slots to make it a Retron 5.

Now it's real.

We are approaching the omni-console.

This get me thinking

does there exist, for the SNES at least, cartridges that allow you to load in them ROMs you got from the internet, to play your downloaded roms on a real SNES ? Kind of like the "N5" for the Nintendo DS.

Because if it did exist, I would buy the crap out of it, to be able to play all those awesome games on my SNES, or on that multi-console you just linked.

Yeah there's generally called Flash carts and are available for lots of different systems.

Here's one such type. They are expensive though.

So, I was curious to know how much I had spent on videogames these last few years, so I did a bit of accounting...

On Steam alone, on the period from 2009-March-7 to 2013-September-8, I have spent a total of €943.20.

This doesn't take into account the expenses on other downloading platforms (Gamestop [ex-Impulse], GOG.com, Gamefly), the games I have bought physical copies of, or the XBox 360 I bought and the associated games. There's also a few Wii games, but that's negligible...

All in all, I think I have spent around €1500 on videogames and related items over that 4-years period. This exclude the €1000 computer I bought a few years ago, as I spend most of my free time in front of it anyway. That makes around €375 per year, or €31.25 per month.

Well, let's look at it this way : I don't smoke nor do I drink. So I guess in that respect it's actually not too bad ?

It's terrible because you could've spent that money on ponies instead. :(

oxy how many of those games have you never played?

Roughly a third of them I'd say. I blame bundles [*], and my shitty connection making it a pain in the ass for me to download a 8GB game.

Currently downloading Dishonored, though. Didn't remember I had bought it a few weeks ago. :v

[*] : of the ~140 games Steam tell me I have, easily a third come from bundles bought during Steam Sales, sooo...

If I tallied up all of the money I spent on Blu-rays over the past three years, it'd surpass what you spent on games. Luckily, I have finally prioritized my finances. I budget now. :D It's something you enjoy, so don't knock it. As long as you aren't sacrificing necessities for games, there's nothing wrong with what you're doing.

Fine fine fine.

Spend those Euros on me, bro. I want some new games I'll never play, too. :v

Go back to Heart of Iron 2, peasant :v

By the way, this remind me. The other day I was thinking about how making any future HoI titles suck less than the previous ones, and along the way I realized that a WW2-centered Total War game would probably be more fun (and before someone makes the obvious joke : of course the turns would be weeks and not years).

They'd have to really change up the tactical battles part of it, though. It'd be a whole game in itself, practically.
