The laugh is that fans seem to know more about the setting than the writers

Re: Godammed SDN

i think the codex is written by like 15 different guys who clearly have no influence on the game as a whole or even the cutscenes but hey

i suspect this rapidly becomes the case in a lot of seriesstarku wrote:The laugh is that fans seem to know more about the setting than the writers
Re: Godammed SDN
i mean even thematically
like xyz bleach writer doesn't need to know all the minuatae so long as the characters are true to the nonsense
but when you make a setting and just fuck around at random you obviously have really bad communication
like that novel los tol me about where an autistic character (lol fanservice) just got better and dead people were just alive again

adr that was a quality post, thanks
Re: Godammed SDN
YOU ARE UNFORTUNATLEY CORRECT ABOUT SOMETHING I CLEARLY DON'T UNDERSTAND
Man lagrange = no gravity effects ?? They're defined by gravity effects
Man lagrange = no gravity effects ?? They're defined by gravity effects
Re: Godammed SDN
it doesn't help that there's so much literature, fiction and non-fiction, that says they are where things cancel out
which leaves a bad impression
i went looking for an external site on the gravity well thing in case he doesn't believe me cuz im a troll or whatever
and one of the sites that explained the gravity well concept pretty well
also referred to them as points where gravity cancels out
ugh
which leaves a bad impression

Re: Godammed SDN
but even if you think about it 'cancels out' still doesn't mean NO GRABITY
like
you can cancel out the effect of someone pulling an object away from you by pulling it back towards yourself
that does not mean that nobody is pulling the object
...
or am i also misunderstanding this
TO THJE CYBERMESH!

Me and Phant always got along well enough in Testing.
Or does freely associating with Phant get me kicked out?

To the best of my memory, I've had Devin Townsend (current), Clint Eastwood (prior one), Digital Underground's Humpty Hump, Prof. Farnsworth, and a firebreathing giraffe. Probably a few others, but those are the one's I recall.starku wrote:Isn't akkut that guy with the offensive avatar?!?!??
