yeah, Monty has made a half dozen or so visually impressive hyperbolic action sequences, which is how he got hired by Rooster Teeth. There's a few episodes and then like an entire series pretty much dedicated to having him animate dudes beating the crap out of each other.

so i've been watching sailor moon for the first time lately.

i just finished the first season and jesus FUCK this show is brutal. (subbed obi) i think i was just about in tears at the second to last episode.

So I'm liking this remake of Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers. I tried watching the original, but I just couldn't get into it due to the dated animation, flat characters, and terrible voice acting.
