it fuckign pisses me off when people say things like "windows don't got no unattended installations!!!!!!"

christ the default installation pretty much takes care of itself

and i've seen corporate IT install windows on like a hundred boxes at once

turns out it is easy

socialist linux users are prolly just jealous b/c linux has never even been run on 100 computer simultaneously at all in its history

Past or presence tense? :v

linky
. However, some of these homes are towed behind a semi-truck or toter on a frame similar to that of a trailer. The home is usually in two pieces and is hauled by two separate trucks. Each frame has five or more axles, depending on the size of the home. Once the home has reached its location, the axles and the tongue of the frame are then removed, and the home is set on a concrete foundation by a large crane.

Presence tense of course.

And, no, it's not a mobile home.

That article is so very braindeath stupid.
Eventually perhaps Microsoft will provide features long in existence such as live CD/USBs from which you can run an operating system, bespoke installations rather than bloated generic ones, unattended installations you don’t have to babysit, and installation direct from USB
Microsoft's version of Live CD/USB is WinPE, which works adequately for what it does. Standard Windows will not run off USB because the USB devices often do not have a unique ID (which isn't even required by the USB standard), and everytime the USB bus is scanned the enumerated order can change. Unattended installations have been around for a long time, and Microsoft has supported installing off a USB since Windows Vista.

I'll grant that it's basicly an all or nothing for a Windows install, but this is because there has been decades of every little component being used by wildly disparate systems. Windows 8 will have the option to purge a feature completely from disk but this isn't used by default because it will break stuff.

EF2 tornadoes are classified as having wind gusts between 111 and 135 mph.

[Broomstick]EF2? That's okay, I guess. But they were only a half mile wide. I knew this older couple that was in Hurricane Andrew, sooooooo, you know. Also Asteroids are way worse.[/Broomstick]

'bespoke installations'

It's like dual level pretention

Everyone who says 'bespoke' is a tryhard fuckwit

And everyone who considers 'tick the right boxes or your install is useless lol' to be a 'bespoke installation' is king of fuckwits

Ie a Linux user

Ps the idea google isn't a bad company is entirely the result of a brilliant marketing campaign utterly capturing nerds who think they're smart or informed

the real lol about linux installation is they put several gigabytes of useless trash in each one

like 6 different browsers

30 media players

70 text editors

12 command line shells

6 spreadsheets (none of which actually work)

and so on and so forth

totally slim

and useful
