there's nothing depressing about a show where a girl follows around four dudes who are all in the swimming club
and she's the manager of the swimming club so she can ogle them all the time

It's depressing to me that such a thing would get to the state of being publicly released in any culture on this fucking earth. Self published fanfic maybe. Like 50 Shades of Grey type shit only self published. I cannot believe someone got away with switching character names from Bella and Edward to whatever the fuck and actually get rich. AMERIIIIIIIICA!

look pal this stuff takes a lot more effort than just switching some names around let me tell you
dedicated artisans have spent countless hours refining their craft so that people may better appreciate the beauty of the male form at their lesiure ok
show some respect you uncultured swine

It also lets us appreciate someone who is sexually and romantically attracted to water.

I think I read an explicit webcomic where there was a lady composed entirely of water getting it on with a human male.

So, Durarara. Finished watching.
Definitely good stuff.
Not what I thought it would be from the reviews I remember reading, but it was simply better than what I expected.

Had a thought :
Am I the only one to notice that in most anime / manga revolving around high school (aged) kids, we rarely, if ever, see the kids' parents.
Does that have any significance ?

Parental relationships are hard to write and often superfluous to the story?
