See, I don't hate her as a person, I just hate the idea of her. She accomplished nothing but getting blown up (didn't get to space so not an astronaut, I'm talking to you astronaut hall of fame) yet suddenly she's Saint Christa of McAuliffe and every school district in Florida has a school named after her.

Think of it this way- if he does this when the next Pope dies, Mike will freak out and either ban his ass or make SCRawl perform some analingus action (outside chance). You can thank me for the mental image later.

I don't think Mike cares unless his pet Shep gets called a racist.

Even if every single person on the planet wholeheartedly agreed that the only valid definition of "astronaut" was "made it above 62 miles altitude", she'd still have been anointed to sainthood and she'd still have had a bunch of schools named after her.

But she wouldn't be in the astronaut hall of fame. So there.

Look, man, Paul Simon got in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, so it's not like halls of fame are really all that reputable anyways.

That would be hilarious if she did it and still had the schools named after her.

From the complete and unabridged Collins English Dictionary:

astronaut [ˈæstrəˌnɔːt]
n
(Astronautics) (Business / Professions) a person trained for travelling in space See also cosmonaut

From the American Heritage Dictionary:

as·tro·naut
n.
A person trained to pilot, navigate, or otherwise participate as a crew member of a spacecraft

From the concise Oxford English Dictionary:

astronaut/ˈastrənɔːt/
▶noun
a person trained to travel in a spacecraft.

Do you think if we back you into a box and launched you into space that you would be an astronaut?

its ironic that when flagg pooped up the word psychotic or sociopathic or whatever there was a shitfest with fatsos being all pedantic over word definitions and their applications

on no flagg quantificate spherical masses of sociopsychotonium to computate sociopathicity

and now when it is for this taikonaut chick flagg is all arguing over the word astronaut and whether hansel uses styling gel or not and whatever pedantries

flagg use altimeter to see if she reached finished like to spaaace no vegan diet no vegan powers

you either die a smarmy asshole or live long enough to see yourself become a fatso

Not NASA's definition of an astronaut.

It depends on if they had reached the right altitude in previous launches.
