i just watched dr. strangelove

what a bizarre movie. one of those comedies where a lot of it is funny, but very little of it gets laughs because people actually do that shit for srs

wikipedia says the guy who played the bomber pilot wasn't told it was comedy and they only gave him a partial script to ensure they get a serious performance out of him

so i just decided to put in a different dvd, randomly picking LAW AND ORDER: SEASON 4

the disc immediately starts playing ads that it didn't let me skip. including one for law and order, season 4, now on dvd

made me awfully tempted to pirate this shit

then the fbi anti piracy warning screen that felt like it went on forever made me want to even more

Then you're part of the problem! You're taking jobs from hard working people. You should be fired and your position eliminated so that a private firm can be given the contract to do the work as a favor by one of the members of the legislature.

Yeah Phant, there's nothing like knowing that 18.5 million people get to hold a referendum on your job... and 6 million of them are card carrying idiots. The rest may or may not have cards.

<goes back to stressing out>
