Doublecoat Tim Tams are the exception to the rule - their doublecoat makes them the IDEAL prop for that most disgusting(ly good) of STRAYAN things, the Tim Tam Slam.

We used to get Tim Tams for a while, Target had them and it even said "Australia's favorite cookie" and everything. Other comparable cookies just don't cut it. HAven't seen them for a while but I also don't eat many cookies anymore.

This is true.

The best biscuit ever
Biscuits are something radically different in the US than they are in Australia. I had forgotten this.

Those look like dangerously good biscuits. MMMMmmmmm buscuits....
Dangit! now I'm going to have to go to a diner for breakfast. I want biscuits and eggs with bacon on the side.

You all means scones right? Because that's a picture of scones.

you know what's weird?
in large parts of europe, "biscuits" (not american biscuits) are called some native bastardisation of "cakes", as in the english word "cakes"
example:
swedish: kex
hungarian: keksz
norwegian: kjeks
german: kekse
etc.
pretty sure i saw something similar in latvia too
which is interesting because "cake" is itself a word that traces its origins to the old norse "kaka" (still a word in scandinavian languages)
so what the fuck is going on here

That looks more like a teacake to me, man.
Are you sure you Statesians aren't just completely mixed up on this whole subject?
Wait, strike that. This is baked goods we're talking about.
The US (in theory at least) should have more working knowledge of this topic than any other nation on Earth.
Why is there this terminology barrier??

Yeah, except they pronounce it like the N.S.W. town made (not very) famous for horses.
