yeah man heat your eggs on the FUSION ENGINE

because battletech engines give off a lot of heat you see

i'm tempted to say they just drew the design first and then made up some wacked out stats but there's two different drawings of it so I guess they said it was ok

man the thing has a large laser too. which is less useful than two medium lasers :3

what about the JADE FALCON STONE RHINO which totally isn't just a glaug combined with the dropship from aliens (i just like the idea that the clan name is part of the mech name)

much worse is this though

it looks like a really unflattering caricature of an orguss

lol annihilator was good enough for Mechwarrior 3 too

I never thought of it as an Orguss type thing

it does have a bit of a paunch

some Battlemechs are made by ORGUSS INDUSTRIES

ok it's time to voyage through the looking glass into a realm of pure fatty

WARHAWK ENTERPRISES PPC

please make sure your speakers are on and you accept any popups for the full experience

here you can find all the resources you need to be very fat

mech poetry
awful pictures
totally original lineart not traced from anywhere
hilarious comics
exciting analysis

the best is that each page has it's own midi theme stolen from mw2 that's REALLY LOUD

Re: btech

why does WARHAWK have a Dire Wolf on the main page :v

Re: btech

he's THE SENTRY

dude

not the CEO of warhawk enterprices ppc

he has his own page and musical theme
the sentry wrote:^" So you noticed that I am not a Warhawk..^
..I am a Dire Wolf,
and I can be a Warhawk's companion..
or I can be a Warhawk's assailant.
I may be any 'Mech's nightmare, if it is so choosen.

"I am the Mechbay sentry.
I pride myself in precise weapons targeting.
I am an expert on 'Mech anatomy.
With my sensors I can detect the size of your liver.
If you value your internal functions,
and your continued existence,
you will not attempt any foolish actions,
on these grounds.

After a long history of 'Mech combat,
and hefty dinners,
I have been transferred to garrison duty
to guard this Mechbay.
I will refuse to be a sibmother,
or resign to a non military function.

I have to admit I love hanging out with Warhawks."
I serve here to protect this Warhawk facility."
Unguided 'Mechs that stray onto this location
are subject to my immediate response.
I am thrilled, as usual at the chance for combat,
and to warm my weapons pods.
And of course to get extra meals,
as a result of spoils from victorous battles.
Livers are my specialty, I chow them down greedily.
Once you loose a liver,
dying is the only option....
Hence my name.

I do not fear volleys of SRMs,
or bolts of projected particles.
I am Dire Wolf.. "
THE SIZE OF YOUR LIVER

i thought mechs had Neurohelmets that project the HUD into your eyes

and they need your inner ear to balance

never drive drunk

Valkyries do not have this problem as Roy can fly drunk and win a lot

With a multi-ton gyroscope and powerful myomers in the limbs, BattleMechs can stand upright and remain balanced on their own, but the limited intelligence of BattleMechs and natural conservatism of their control computers means they often need to be told when it is acceptable to be off balance, which may be helpful in battle as MechWarriors push their machines.
no really that's what they say

pfft

i could tell you battlemechs are conservatives

not like those liberal japbots

also did you know in the board game it's possible to stand on one leg

it's hard though

like +5 to pilot roll

I wonder if I still have my copy of Mechwarrior (mercs?) for PC. I want to see if I can max out my PPCs and blow up the reactor.

Oh man I have like two copies of that game. One legit and one burned.

All I did was use the Battle Hawk with its three medium pulse lasers and killed everything

also Stark it's when one leg is blown off

I second that I LOVED the walking in MW3, slow and heavy.

It remembered you that you aren't a toy in a small playground but piloting a war machine fighting for strategic location.
And the speed played an huge role. I remember how hard it was to make my "Thor" speedy enough to blow up that fucking train, yet keep enough armor and weapon to survive all the other enemy mech.

And on the other hand it was pure pleasure to put around 12 Heavy Laser on a Daishi in Cold Cooling-friendly environment and blow the hell of enemy I locked with long range radar.

When I use the mechlab in MW3 I feel like an engineer.
When I saw the mechlab in MW4, I felt like I was treated like a kid.
hahaha
