Game Dev Tycoon forces those who pirate the game to unwittingly fail from piracy

This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Also the saddest.

"I mean can I research a DRM or something?"

It's actually kind of petulant and lame. I'm all for making a buck but maybe if they were in it for more than the money they would turn out a product that doesn't look like utter shit.

its especially funny because that whole game is a shameless rip off of kairosoft's work, only without any of the charm

"You are losing increasing amounts of money to piracy. Do you want to A) Concentrate on making original, quality products with adequate previews that make people want to actually buy (Sorry, management removed that option), or B) Engage in an expensive and ultimately futile quest to make piracy impossible which serves only to either amuse or alienate your existing fanbase."

So, Spec Ops : The Line...
I just passed that sequence where they drop white phosphorus on people. Dang.
Man are those guys in heavy armor a pain in the ass. Throwing sticky bombs at them isn't even enough, you have to then finish them by dropping half a mag of M4A1 into their ass. Which is hard when you're using a sniper-rifle at that particular moment...
No.

There's more than one of those sequences ? Because my team wasn't the one to launch that attack.

You'll see.

Sometimes I would just unload a shotgun in the face of those heavies to try and kill them. It's even crazier on hard mode.

I never use shotguns : the rate of fire is too slow, and I prefer to shoot at a distance, so the M4 / 417 is the way to go for me, with a machine pistol or an M249 on the side.

Oh. I got through the game on normal using shotguns and AK's. I thought the machine pistols were more for multiplayer since I just kept using the shotguns for instant close range takedowns.

I guess we have different playstyles, then.

In shooters I always end up being sniper / long-range shooter.

Spec Ops : The Line spoilarz
Okay, now I used the White Phosphorus on that camp.

*smirk*

I'm half tempted to go back, if it's possible, and try to do things the hard way as Lugo suggested, but in the end the result would be the same : they would all die. Maybe less horribly, but they would all die.

No, what's really hard is the soldiers going in that place in the back of the camp, and me reflexively pulling the trigger on the relatively unmoving concentration of human-like infrared silhouettes...

And seeing how the game is scripted, even if I avoided targeting it, they would still canonically die from the WP.

In shooters I try to play in as realistic of a manner as possible.

Which of course means akimbo shotguns fired from the hip. :fukyu:

Not quite a video game, but I played my first online round of Tribbles yesterday using Skype and Lackey.

Holy hell was that fun. I managed to win the tournament with a score of 999,545. There was an achievement for scoring over a million. Next time!

Maybe ? Hell, from the first time they encountered civils and fought in that camp, it was becoming pretty clear that Walker was becoming as much a part of the problem as anyone else.

That's not a maybe, that's a certainty.

To find survivors.

Obviously they found them.

But Walker goes on and on and on about "Kurt this" and "Doing the right thing that"

What is he going to do, fix Dubaï with his crew of three ??!
