My grandmother's dead and buried now, but the upside is I have a brand new present for my son's eighth birthday:

A genuine 50 year old Daisy Red Ryder BB gun! This is the gun I learned how to shoot on and it's back in my hands. He'll be 8 and flinging little steel pellets at a target in the back yard, no license required! And no Day-Glo frufru colors.

If he's really good, he'll get the .22 I learned to shoot on for his 9th birthday.

well it involves physical activity and fun rather than rules lawyering, so I don't think that really counts as fatness

This is where it gets fat. They're healthbars.

Nah. Games master decides at the beginning of each match how many 'lives' you get based on the number of players and the arena - gameplay balance. When you're tagged, you have to walk, not run, to the respawn point, drop and tag, count ten seconds, then you can rejoin.

For some reason I thought you were talking about the neckbeard. I haven't the slightest clue what gave me that impression. :psyduck:

Bare neck with a beard just seems incomplete to me. I'll leave the whole thing as is until EOM and then it's gone entirely.

You've got too much mass under the chin to carry the extra beard. Keep some, but not all the way down. Trust me, I'm a beard expert.

I ran a No. 1 over the whole thing again last night. I promise to keep it neater until the end of the month.

Bought a set of 'picatinny rail adaptors' to fit a Tasco I picked up. Standard Nerf rails are 18mm, picatinny is just over 5mm. These things are 20mm. What??

Mebbe that's the inside diameter of the rings, which would make more sense. Besides, Picatinny rail width is 0.206 INCHES. F that metric bull for an American standard rail.

No, the rail adaptors look like this. Not ring style.
