Hmm. The price on that ain't bad for the package; I paid $25 shipped to get just the scope. Tempted to get another one.

What I'm really chasing is this, and even though that's the highest ask I've seen for one, it's not far off average. They can't be that fucking rare.

Your horoscope, it came true
"We know that a few eagle-eyed members of Nerf Nation have spotted two different versions of the N-Strike Elite Retaliator blaster video we posted online earlier this week, and wanted to clear up any confusion. We pride ourselves on offering high-performance blasters that adhere to our own strict safety standards, as well as standards set by each country where Nerf blasters are available. It is for this reason that, while most of our fans internationally will be seeing up to 75 foot distances using the N-Strike Elite blasters, members of Nerf Nation located in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, China and the Philippines will see a distance of up to 15 meters. N-Strike Elite blasters around the world will all feature Elite blaster styling, design and darts. We can’t wait to share more information with you, Nation, and may have some more details up our sleeves for next week. Stay tuned."

Obviously if there's a better alternative, use that. Just in case that doesn't work for whatever reason, let me know.

Longshot tart-up project nearly finished. Reassembled and the fucking bolt sled is stuck; charging handle won't budge. Hence, underbarrel gun in below photo is not actually attached to main body, but you get the idea.

Why is it that the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this picture was the Bathroom Scene in Full Metal Jacket ?

I'm pretty sure that was intentional.

Anyway, cool photo, and, yeah, really evocative.

Dudes, he's just loading a mag. The "real guy" had the M-14 in his hands.

BTW, Nerf also makes waterguns, I bought one for my son. Do they sell them in The Land Down Under?

Looks really good, much better than my son's Longstrike. Don't take it out in public and get pit bull shot by the RCMP, OK? That would suck.

Yes yes I know RCMP is on a different continent but you speak the same language and have similar laws so what the hell.

Sad thing is I saw the picture before I saw the caption and wondered why you would take a picture of yourself taking a dump. Then I remembered that would actually raise the intellectual standard of this board. Then I saw the nerf gun and was like "whoops". Then I looked up the youtube clip of this and spent so long watching FMJ clips I should have just put in the fuckin' movie.
