But I never used a proper proxy before only crappy web ones

So how do you go about finding one that isn't going to steal my soul

Rent a server in the US for the amount of time you need your proxy and re-root your traffic through there by using a VPN tunnel or some shit like that.

Alternative answer :

Ask ADR if there's a way to re-root your traffic through arsdnet.net's server.
