Ah hah, it's in OT. Because nobody reads Announcements. Except Announcements says nothing about it anyway, so even if we did it wouldn't be too useful.

Either way it seems like kind of a sloppy way to assign mods.

This opinion then kinda remains unchanged. They said Lagmonster is retiring but apparently haven't taken off his supermod powers yet.

I grant that maybe they don't consider it important, but they did take the time to give the green to Stofsk and D. Turtle before deciding on their forums, so... Maybe the Staff just works in mysterious ways...

I'm not really bothered by it, so much as just left with a feeling of "WTF were they thinking?" and trying, vainly, to append some reason for the really, really odd way they went about this.

Well okay, I am sorta bothered at D. Turtle being a mod because I think he's a bit of an ass and Thanas-lite less the redeeming qualities (granted this is just out of what I've seen of him in N&P, but isn't N&P the "serious debate" forum anyway?). That particular promotion just seems out of left field. Was there some secret application process I missed?

I only have mod powers in a handful of forums so far, like Testing, HoS, Announcements etc.

So everything important, plus HoS and Announcements.
