For some reason that reminds me of people complaining that fs2 is easy when it defaults to easy and all th enemy guns are massively inferior to player guns
Yeah I can see that. I'm not sure if weapon damage is skewed more for the player on the default setting in Mercs
some of that is though some designer being like well these stupid robots can't do anything other than run around so let's just have them rush this fixed position the player has to defend
ok ignore the fact there's like FIVE FUCKING KEYS just for targeting people in different ways which all amount to you just designated a target
why even have that
Gungriffon which if a fucking SEGA SATURN GAME just has all allies and enemies designated with unobtrusive yellow boxes around enemies and blue hexagons around allies
so when you need to shoot a missile you just point it at a target and wait for the tone which is like a second or two, and fire
not select target, hold reticle on target, then fire
was that to make it hard to use these almost guaranteed hit weapons hard to use?
