Oh man that is classic. The sad part is, I'm not overly fond of them either, but it has to do with how every one of them I've interacted with seemed to be severely emotionally damaged and acted like a fuckwit. But I guess that's to be expected?

I was just reading ADR's comment in that thread about the Supreme Court, and I scrolled up a bit (since I've not read much of that thread) and, I know no one here is fond of Broomstick and her iterations of comments relating to poverty and aviation, but, you know what? Her comment on airport security is correct. What the fuck sort of nation is this that it's fucking legal for some glorified mall cop to feel up a goddamn child to make sure they aren't secreting a fucking Bowie knife onto the plane? Hannah Arendt was right about the banality of evil; it's not all skull masks and midnight blood rituals. It's a bunch of fucking bureaucrats normalizing evil behavior as necessary.
