so i finally watched the second evangelion rebuild film

that was awesome

mari seemed kind of pointless so i hope they do something interesting with her in the next one. I mean she's not awful when she's actually on screen but she's got virtually zero characterisation and she's absent for a huge swath of the film until suddenly "Oh yeah now I'm piloting Eva 02 for some reason, ZA BEAST lol".

Also that scene at the end was totally begging to have komm susser todd playing but I guess they're saving that for a more appropriate scene final movie

The new designs for the angels are awesome. The way Sahaquiel shifted through different forms before finally reaching one similiar to it's appearance in the original tv show was great, and the humanoid part suddenly reaching out to shank Shinji made me shit a brick.
