Re: Godammed SDN
Fedex likes to mark packages as "attempted delivery" and then not actually attempt to deliver the package. Not so much as buzzing the doorbell or knocking. Lazy fucks.
Re: Godammed SDN
fedex can't even find my house

btw i hate firefox's relatively new password thign where it pops up over the shit you're trying to do and doesn't go away
the golden bar IE6 had was the best
you could see, you could work with it, but it wasn't in the fucking way
this new firefox thing gets in the way, and when you click to do your other work, it just disappears so even if you wanted to use it, its gone now
it also steals focus from other apps which is fucking obnoxious
horribly unusable

Yes. But with Fed Ex you can overnight items for cheap (with Prime) on Amazon and get it on Saturday.Losonti Tokash wrote:so does the usps?Knubble tov wrote:Fedex delivers on Saturdays, therefore they're winners in my book.

But there are really obvious rules about when to steal focus and how to present that
I guess nobody on Firefox squad gives a shit

$40/year for four years with the student discount. You make that back in no time with two-day shipping.Flagg wrote:You paid $70 for Amazon Prime?

I'm talking about ordering it Thursday morning and getting it Friday evening. You have come across items where that is simply $1? I have never seen that, even before getting Prime. Do you have any examples?Losonti Tokash wrote:i don't have prime and most of my purchases have free or $1 shipping for next day :V
Edit: Buying Blu-rays (what I usually buy) cosst you $7.98 for two-day shipping (order Monday and get it Wednesday) and $12.98 for one-day, where you get it the next day. $40/month for free two-day shipping pays for itself with five purchases. If you buy a lot, it's worth it. Plus, I use it for textbooks that I may need on the fly.

He may also live pretty close to an amazon warehouse or something. Newegg's biggest warehouse is about a 45 minute drive from my house, so 3-day shipping is usually both free and 'next day' if they got items in stock over there.

Enrolling in a class after a drop means using Prime is justified. Birthday gifts too. I bought my mother a birthday gift a day before her birthday because I forgot. But yes, I lack patience.Phantasee wrote:MUST HAVE NOW

i threw that in because i am sick and tired of simon_jester's pretenses at being reasonable when people say shit like that and everything that zinegata pukes and he does nothing- reasonable does not include forming things up into sports teams

I guess nobody on Firefox squad gives a shit
but those fucks at google refuse to give you an option to open up files straight from the browser
you have to save them to your hard disk first
when you're working with lots of excel spreadsheets this gets really fucking annoying, but it's the only thing keeping me from switching completely
