The ability to snap people's necks without a second thought is oddly incompatible with sci-fi debating?

When you say SDN is was a crutch, are you talking about yourself, or everyone who posts there?

we can't generalize it to everyone since that's just an overbroad sweeping statement

but it was definitely a crutch for me

and it probably applies to a bunch of other folks too

i wasn't making an objective statement, just a very (negatively) sentimental one

i was saying what i was feeling at the time

now i still think its true, though atm i'm feeling pretty chill so i can't really make another bile-filled post or whatev

It was for me when I was in the worst of my PTSD. Now that I'm better I realize that it was holding me back.

Like if you hang out with bitter and twisted people, it warps your thinking and you just wallow.

its a shame

for me i initially used teo and the internet in general as a crutch for a very awkward and tough adolescence to escape to somewhere

but yeah, as you say it warps the thinking and i just wallowed and ended up segregating myself from a big part of life that instead of shying away from with these crutches, i should've just manned up and lived through and shit

anyway so recently i ended up developing a new different not-group kind of thinking and stopped wallowing and looking back

yeah

not a pretty sight

Being a member of a shooting club, getting out and socialising with my wife and kids, actually going outside is loads better. And I'm getting over the disgust for camping the Army left me with.

A few years from now I expect to be in the bush a lot, like I was when I was normal.

I just wish I had time to do shit like that anymore. Working 8.5 hour days with 2 hours of commuting and at least nominally 8 hours a day for sleep doesn't leave a whole lot of time for other shit in the day, after trying to cram in meals and stuff.

I make up for that by trying to travel as much as I can possibly afford. But since I hate where I live anyway it's not a hard choice for me.

Just gotta plan some stuff out and stick to it, I guess. I've been doing archery with a friend of mine every few weeks. It's a neat skill and gets you outside

I should get back to doing Archery. Used to do it every weeks for five years... Had to stop because of bullshit high-school planning.

All of the archery places around here seem to be a bit further out than I care to make the effort for, or it's something I'd eventually get back into.

I'm Mr. WHORES, from marketing. But we both know that isn't true, don't we? Shroomie, pay attention to the strangeness of the forums around you. The best way to test yourself is to try and remember how you got here.

That's right Shroomie. This isn't TEO.

Now breathe, remember your training, remember that this isn't TEO and that I'm here to protect you.

"Who or what is Mr. WHORES?"
"It's a gambit designed to turn Shroomie against his own fattynerd."
