ME3 Co-op challenge thread

#1 Post by Darksi4190 »

Fuck it. I'm just posting one thread here that we can update every other weekend.

This weekend's challenge is to kill seven million mook enemies (cannibals, Geth Troopers, and Cerberus Assault troopers) for the community, and to achieve a full extraction with a party consisting of Krogan, Vorcha, and Batarians for the individual challenge.

I'll be on tomorrow until I have to leave for work at six PM EST, and all day sunday.

A note for the challenge: Everyone in the party has to be a krogan or a vorcha or a batarian. You don't need one of each, you can be all krogan, or three vorcha and a batarian, etc,. But if anyone is not one of those three races, you do not meet the individual goal.

It's kind of dumb, actually, because not everyone has a character of those races. Thems the breaks though.

well there's plenty of new cutscenes and a fallout-style epilogue of slides with a voice over

but there's also the 4th ending where shep rejects the catalyst's options and chooses to fight anyway

That actually sounds pretty cool. The whole time the catalyst was going on about synthetics and organics being doomed to destroy each other I wanted to do a paragon interrupt and point out that I had the Geth and Quarian fleets both lined up to kick his ass.

EDIT: I've just learned that choosing the refusal ending ends with total defeat by the reapers regardless of your readiness score, so there is no option for an actual victory over the reapers that preserves EDI and the Geth, so yeah, Bioware fucked up again.

i'm fine with that, since the next cycle kills them for good, which is what a lot of people suggested as a compromise

i also approve that they decided to be consistent about the destroy ending and have it kill off edi also, since in the original version she still lived for no reason other than mac walters didn't want to kill her

Can we keep spoilers to a minimum?

I've started a new game with the doc and I want to be surprised.

Well you can see all the new stuff by just reloading from right before the cerberus base, they didn't add anything to the previous bits of the game.

No idea. You could check the game store to see if they've dropped the packs yet.

cool. I hope you aren't as disappointed as I was with the striker. That thing just looked so awesome, but it's actually fairly useless.

Is the Striker the one that ramps up RoF as you hold it down? I actually like that one. It really benefits from a rank 2 or 3 ammo (I prefer incendiary) and Weapon-speccing. Especially on the Human Soldier, cause you can refill the mag with AR to keep up the fire. I usually give it Magazine size and Heavy Barrel, or Armor Pen, for the mods.
