I actually don't mind it so much. It means I'm not tied down to this fuckhole of a city anymore, and I've got a nice severance package plus my 401k. So I'll have close to $15k to tide me over.

I figure I can use a few grand towards moving and living costs, and then sink the rest into an IRA or something. At least that way I won't go penniless by the end of the year.
