It's amazing the amount of vitriol the Occupy movement is attracting, especially from people that would benefit from any changes they bring about. I can't say I approve of how the local group is handling sexual assaults in their camp but it's pretty obvious that they are;

A: Not dirty hippies who want our blood to reanimate Stalin

and

B: Genuinely want to help

So, adr and Bakustra... I actually really do think the question of "Why would the Empire and Federation actually fight?" is a very interesting one, and certainly one worthy of serious discussion. Still, in a typical "VS Thread" that's kinda beside the point, isn't it? I mean, why the fuck would the Flash and a Jedi fight? Fuck if I know, but it kind of makes the 'debate' rather pointless (well, even more pointless than vs debating in general, anyway).

IOW, I dunno whether it's worthwhile to bring up in a general "Who wins in a fight?" discussion. But you should totally make a seperate thread discussing it, because it could be interesting.

Or, it being SDN, it'll likely devolve into 'herp derp Empire curbstomps Federation cuz Palps is a dick' but I can still hope.
