Does ADR troll in regards to political discussions or does he just have the ideals of a 16 year old? I don't think I've seen him troll in such discussions.

God don't remind me of that fucking game. The draw system was so goddamn tedious. I mean otherwise the story and battle system were decent, but standing there for fifteen minutes drawing spells was complete bullshit.

ff8 is a great game. its actually one of my favs. though i recently went to play it again and i don't have the patience i used to have but still i like it.

I don't despise the game either, I just thought the Draw system was terrible. Not even the entire junction system mind you, Equipping magic to boost your stats was actually a rather interesting move, I just hated the way you had to acquire it during combat, especially since some of the best spells were only held by bosses or monsters that were hard to beat even if you didn't waste turns drawing from them.

I really enjoyed it, and probably would again, it seemed to have a longer open/non-railroad section than most final fantasy games. Those were always my favorite parts of them. There's actually a couple I stopped playing after the railroad started again.

I liked though how if you had the patience to draw 300 spells from them, you could hilariously break the game. I don't think any other FF has let you do that so early on without exploiting a glitch or something.

I mean I guess you could by level grinding to 99 early on, though I think the drawing was a lot faster than shitloads of random battles (since IIRC you could draw all of it in a single encounter).
