Will any power supply fit in any case, or do I have to be careful matching them up?

Unless your computer's really ancient PSUs are pretty good about compatibility. Might have a little bit less room in the case afterword though.

The real worry is will you be able to cram a new GPU in there. I could barely fit my new one in. I honestly thought I'd have to take a fucking file to the interior of the case.

According to the specs, the case has 2 PCIe X16 expansion slots, with one used by the existing card. There should be enough room.

Something I was thinking about though, I know I can replace my GPU in my current motherboard, but i'm not sure about the CPU. I'm currently using an Intel Core2 Duo E6300, and i'm not sure the motherboard would support a newer one. What's the lifespan on motherboards anyways?

It's an ASUS P5NSLI in case you were wondering.

It's not the amount of slots you have to worry about, it's the actual physical size of the GPU. When I upgraded my radeon I wasn't prepared for the sheer difference in size.

You'll have to look up the mobo's part number to find out if it supports newer chips.

What Zod said about the GPU. I was fucking floored by just how big the fucker is. And I imagine the newer ones are about the same size if not bigger.

To be honest, i've kind of wanted to replace my case for a while. Some of the fans don't work so I have to leave the side panel off to keep it from getting too hot inside, and the front panel cover broke off a couple years back. The only thing I might want to save from it is the 500W power supply, but the fan doesn't work on it.

Mind you I got all this stuff from Newegg last time, so I'm a little concerned about buying a pre-built system from them. That "powergamer" brand has it's own web site, and there are a few computer specialty stores around, so i'll check them out before resorting to Newegg.

Throw up a thread over there and PM phongn, or PM him here (or PM him there to come here). His advice is always valuable.

Newegg is fine. They just build shit poorly these days. Damned kids, off my lawn!

That doesn't endear me to buying a machine pre-built by them.

I really never wanted to know this.
Within the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom (including bronies), "clop" is also used as a onomatopoetic euphemism for MLP:FiM-based erotic material, both anthropomorphic and non-anthropomorphic[3].

I don't mean newegg does, I just mean manufacturers in general. I've had 3 PSU's die on me in that number of years and none were bought from newegg.

I repeatedly neurolyze myself when confronted with information that disturbing.

And by "neurolyze," I mean "drink and entire goddamn bottle of Jack Danials so I can't possibly remember it."

The most fucked up thing is :

There is a large quantity of MLP-themed porn out there involving the kids depicted in the show (the Cutie Mark Crusaders and their schoolmates).

I frequent some brony websites, and there's informations you learn that way. Same way I couldn't give a flying fuck about ST or SW and still managed to learn some things about it.

So, not only are there people out there making........ugh........pony porn, but pony kiddie porn? And Losonti said that most bronies actually defend this behavior?

Same reason why people defend lolicon hentai :

"b... But it's just drawn ! No one is getting hurt !"

Though I think (or at least hope) it's far from being defended by a majority of bronisz - only a vocal minority.

so i'm staying at my grandma's house rite

the conversation at the dinner table goes to the topic of my no-longer eating rice

auntie (grandma's daughter in law) says that i am eating too much food because i don't eat rice

and idk that kind of pisses me off because i've been maintaining a pretty low bodyweight and pretty low food intake already and everyone i meet is pretty amazed at how thin i am

i feel like doing this out of spite:

Either there's a typo here or your aunt doesn't understand how eating works.
