Watches are basically man jewelry. Nothing wrong with that.

i'm sophisticated so i use a pocket watch

it's my phone

i used to wear a watch but it started making my arm sweaty under the band and that was gross so fuck it

remarkably sometimes my arm still gets sweaty right where the band used to be :psyduck:

man. I love my watch, so much more convenient than fishing around all my pockets trying to remmeber where my phone is. Then activating the screen and everything. much better to just glance at my wrist.

its why we ditched fob watches to start with. though admittedly there's something undeniably awesome about them.

I should start putting my phone on a short chain

Then graft that chain into my chest

So like a pocket watch

TKD was way hard today. The regular guy is off on a TKD trip, so his assistant took over. He knew all new exercises. I was way beat, but I really liked it. This is a new side of me.

Also, I just finished season four of Breaking Bad. Wow.

GET UP TO DATE GANDS. I need someone to talk about it with as other people here were too precious about it.

I have many questions.

But I fear to ask, lest I be spoiled. :(

Yeah, I do like Hank.

He's pretty much the only one trying to do the right thing, even if he's a bit of a tool.

Finished through season 4. I kind of don't want to do season 5 because usually I don't like series and while BB is an exception to that rule, season 4's finish was such a nice wrap-up/resting point for so many plot threads that I'm kind of content with leaving it as it is.

That and Gus was by far my favourite character in the series, he was a genuinely scary monster.

nBSG is awesome. Thematically it ended perfectly.

dude I loved nBSG
for all its flaws, if it had ended halfway through the finale (when Baltar had gotten a shaky truce with the Cylons), I would have fonder memories of the show. But the actual, final ending was bullshit
(if I'd had my way, the mutiny would have succeeded...)

That was when it all went wrong for me.

I could see what they were trying to do, but it all went so very wrong. Baltar ending everything with a freaking sermon?

I plan on talking more about how nbsg reflected more negative attitudes in culture as opposed to TOS and TNG, which were reflecting more positive tones.

I just don't want to watch the whole thing.

How?

I mean if you go by the minseries the themes are a)Got to behave as if you were worthy of survival. b) Got to take responsibility for the things you do.

I don't see how you've done this by throwing all your fuck ups into a black hole and abandon everything you own to play 'The Good Life'.
