Welcome to the year 2000. Have you protected your computer systems against the Y2K bug yet?

Maybe you should try playing a game made in this decade

so we're getting set up to do the demo for the investors... and one of facebook's servers goes down not five minutes into it. (we use the facebook for some login, share, and registration functions, so now parts of the site are a pain to get to. not impossible, but a pain.)

Yes but i've literally never heard him mention playing a game made after 2000. Guy needs to broaden his gaming horizons.

Oh god. I think i've just walked into an argument with Elfdart over the quality of the Prequels.

I feel like i've just stepped down and heard a land mine go "click."

But yeah, I did most my gaming in the mid to late 90's and early 00's, and always played games at least a couple years old. New games were (and still are) waaaaay too rich for my blood.

Since then, I've just had a lot of other things to do and don't have much time for gaming anymore. When I do play it, I make the most of my time by going to a game I know is good.

The exception is when I decide to give multi player a go.... Gran Turismo 5 on the ps3 was great. Killzone 3 was meh. (BTW: online only multiplayer sucks ass. Being social sometimes means seeing other people, not just logging on to a fucking chatroom. Strange, concept to developers, I know.)

Tell him he is "one dumb twat" and that should confuse him for a bit, if you don't want to replicate my strategy against Raynor, and that probably could only work once.

Also, calling him a grognard or asking him if he has problems with "storygaming Swine" may get some amusing reactions, and you have plausible deniability.

Honestly I think people should avoid N&P like the plague if they value their lives. I consider it the primary cause of all the conflict, ill will, and degeneration of whatever positive things SDN had. The place is just downright poisonous and leads to nothing but stress and frustration.

Formless knows the difference between private citizens and countries, and between diplomatic intercourse and individual speech, and I think he's literate. Definitely smarter than mr friendly guy.

Considering his behavior in the Syria ChemWeapons thread his literacy is in doubt.

I think it was my reactions in N&P that made Dalton banninate me, so I'll second the motion. Flagg, I do remember saying "I'mma kill you, but I'm really not" and you admiring my style, but I don't actually remember what we were havering about. And I'm not interested enough to go back and look up the Parting Shots thread. Was it anything important? Anyway, aside from User Fiction and Artwork, the place is an echoooo chamber.

What were you doing in that particular minefield in the first place?

There's bad news, worse news and good news.

The bad news is that this isn't one of those mines that kills you, it just maims you and leaves you wishing for death.

The worse news is that I lied, there's no good news.

Dude, you threatened to kill people on a message board. No one believed you would do it, but it's still a huge deal because all it takes is one dickbag to call the FBI and get the board owner bothered by them.

Oh well, I forgot about Canadian intolerance. Shame on me.

Well, the population sample is of a lesser size, so there's more room for disagreement, I'd say.

But indeed, you can't deny almost everyone here apart from Choc (I think) is on the the left of the political spectrum.
No.
