Some of us do. Some of us also saw the joke when it appeared over here first.

I have to be honest, the fact you need money in order to buy ammos and repair the tank after each match kinda kills it for me, especially once you want to get past tier 3 where it become grind grind grind.

This is especially tedious if you're like me and just play once in a while and aren't part of a coordinated team. Then it become just painful with little to no gratification.
In all fairness, that's more or less similar to other MMOs like WoW and TOR that do the whole equipment durability thing, which make you spend money every so often to "repair" your gear (and if you die it takes a major hit, but any damage will chip away at it).

I mean granted it's not the same: sure durability costs do technically cut into your ability to buy new gear as you level (which could be likened to buying new turrets and new tanks in WoT) but the big difference is that most people will get their new gear off of drops and quest rewards, which is not an option in WoT. You have to spend the money to get a new tank and buy a new turret/engine/radio/whatever unlike in other MMOs where you can get a new sword/armor/shield/whatever as loot from a mob or quest giver. So it does tend to increase the grind.

But again, in fairness, I think you'd almost have to expect a grind in World of Tanks because of the very way it's set up. Face it: you can always say you're playing WoW, STO, TOR or other MMOs for the "story" and all that, so you can suffer the grind a little easier. But since WoT doesn't have any kind of story all that's left is the grind. Really it's not a lot different than, say, APB: Reloaded in that respect. APBR is nothing but a grind, and while it kinda-sorta has more of a story than WoT (at least insofar as a background story of "crime out of control, lots of vigiliantes take to the streets" as opposed to "vaguely WWII even though for some reason the Allies, Axis and Commies will have their tanks on the same side because...") said story means absolutely nothing to the gameplay which is essentially Grand Theft Auto the MMO.

You could also, you know, play it for fun :L

If you're just doing it for the grind then you should probably find healthier things to do with your time.

Is that the "spaceship is built for space so it can withstand 0-1 ATM?" gag? Maybe I'm just unlucky or grumpy, but I've seen that one tossed around just often enough to find it worn out.

Where the fuck did this snow come from? Ugh. If only all of the warmer cities weren't complete shitholes to live in.

A few of them were fun to talk to and/or kinda hot. Some of them were incredibly awkward to talk to and some of them were just so-so. About what I expected for the amount of people.

After several years of putting it off, Rhi finally sat me down and forced me to watch The Room with her.

I feel... strangely complete.
