Let's be introspective about the board's history and how much the world has changed just like on SDN.

On a Star Wars related subject:

I have to say that the rendition of the Force theme that plays between 1:20 and 2:10 is probably my favorite ever (with that little "military march" version at the start of RotS a close second), especially at the crescendo, and it's a shame it wasn't used at some point in the movie.
Now, granted, the version we had in the movie for that scene (Vader's funeral pyre if you didn't know) - which plays at the end of the track - I think fits the mood much better. So I don't know that I'd have the first part of "Light of the Force" for that scene, but at some point in the movie.
Your thoughts?

Did that on SB. I feel way older than everyone else. And more ornery. 'Why in my day we didn't HAVE an ICS. We had to get our gigatons the OLD FASHIONED way!'Stofsk wrote:Wait til 10 years pass and see how you feel then.Oxymoron wrote:I've just seen that I've been on this board for exactly one year now.

Speaking of SB.
WHY DOESN'T IT JUST FUCKING WORK?
Seriously, it's like the servers spend more time down than up.

It usually seems to be just a little while around 6:00 it has problems but today, damn, it's been like that all day.
Re: The Return of Testing Chat Thread
It is either baddly configured backups, or the xenforo caching crap growing like crazy before whatever prunes it kicks in. Saddly, it will probably get worse as Kier is a rather absent forum owner.
Throwing more resources at it would help, but that would cost money. And Kier hasn't even bothered to get the subscriptions stuff back up or even having a donate button

I just saw this on Facebook.

Study shows that teachers are slightly biased to grant girls higher marks, as a reward for attitude. Docile or sycophantic or charming? I wonder whether this is linked to the occurrence of a corrupt type of (older) girl who thrives beyond graduate level by fornicating with her own (male) supervisor or boss?
