Am I the only one who wants to tell DEATH to go ahead and just fucking kill himself if he's that unhappy and unwilling to change anything?

SDN desperatly needs an ignore function, cause DEATH is one of those guys who goes through life fucking everything up and not learning from that.

He's also rich, so no one will hold him accountable.

I never read venting except in special cases (lol internet bitching) but it's funny how he goes 'fml' and then when people point out all the causes of his depression are firmly under his control and he could change them at any time he gets all defensive and goes 'man I gotta earn a living'

I know this is obvious but there are lots of ways to earn a living

it's worth reading about death's life to see how fatty nerds can so totally fuck up a life that requires no effort to maintain

being amazingly rich is just so hard, you know? dodging military service and touring the world would get anyone down

mang, you're just jealous that death has the opportunity to waste thousands of dollars globetrotting while wasting his daddy's money failing in school and has the luxury to be able to get depressed over how he doesn't like doing his homework rather than 'how the fuck am i going to pay the car insurance' and 'jesus christ I hope it's just a minor infection because I can't afford to go to the hospital'.

no wait I'm projecting

you know

i was unhappy with my life of failure and not getting anywhere career wise like he is

and i had the opportunity to change something like he has

but i did actually say 'fuck this noise i am going to CHASE MY RAINBOW'

it was difficult and painful and meant pulling 14 hour days and won't start paying off for a good few years

but i am happy now

i think the message to take away here is that i'm better than .303 :ugeek:

Software developer. I thought I was meant for academia, but I'm much happier building computer programs.

It's a shitload of work, but none of it is really hard, since apart from the economic courses it all boils down to solving puzzles with the tools you're learning. I've had to cram in some resume-padding activities because I'm a bit older than the other people graduating, and those have been taking up most of my time - I took over an student IT organisation, I've been elected to two tiers of student council (departement and college-wide), since this year I'm the student representative on the curriculum review committee, and I volunteer in the international relations program, so I spend a couple of weeks each year abroad doing conferences and training programs. That doesn't leave much leisure time.

On the upside, getting a job in this field - when you have what it takes - is piss-easy :D

The most amusing thing about Death is now even Broomstick is telling him to fuck off out of testing. Broomstick Irony overload.

lol

Personally I'd have all Congressional debates moderated by SDN staff, but I don't think anybody is really up for that.
