That would baffle me even if it weren't a harpoon gun and were instead a firearm.

But then, I'm the guy that never stores weapons loaded and checks to make sure they're unloaded when I pick them up even though I know for a fact that I put them away without any ammunition in them.

You never know if your kid somehow managed to break in the safe, have a bit of fun with the gun and forgot to unload it before putting it back...
No.

I don't have a kid but if I did I'd have a gun safe that they couldn't break into with a cutting torch.

Mine don't go near it, they've had enough range time, safety briefs and demos that all the mystery is gone.

Its bolted to the floor though.

Unrelated, but I finally found time to watch the movie "The Pentagon Wars".

I have to admit, I laughed out loud for a decent portion of the movie.

But then you think back on the fact that it is how things are done in the militaro-industrial complex, and as someone who plan to join the armed forces this just become depressing.
No.

Wait till you see it from the inside. It sorta resembles a chicken without a head.

And the thing is, currently working a low-level job in a big R&D structure, I can already see and hear quite a bit of project management bullshit. But at least those have less chances of resulting in casualties...

That'd be part of their education from me. They won't even be allowed to handle weapons with supervision until they can recite and explain the cardinal rules of gun safety back to me.

The worse thing is, from an internal point of view to the story, these are legitimate questions one could ask themselves.

So I just read that this will be the last season of transformers prime. With TCW, Young Justice, and Green Lantern: TAS done with I don't have anything to watch on weekend mornings anymore. And I can cross The Hub off as another channel I have no reason to watch, just like Cartoon Network and SyFy.

Go watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nick. :colbert:

Also I could give you a reason to watch The Hub but you'd just get all reactionary on me. :flagg:

So I went and saw Oblivion over the weekend. This was a mistake. Don't go unless you want to spend two hours of watching Tom Cruise jerk off to himself.

so the body shop still hasn't sent a formal estimate to the insurance company yet. That makes me concerned that they found some more damage that might make the car a total loss.

Iron Man Three was pretty good
well, up until the half-hour action sequence at the end, but I think those are mandatory for superhero films (I mean: it was executed well enough, but I just don't really like those sequences)
