I weighted myself a few hours ago, and I apparently lost 4-5 kilograms in the last two weeks, from around 65 to ~60.5 kg.

For the record, I'm only 170cm tall.

That's why you have to get good at concealing it about your person like everyone else does.

God, did you even READ Starship Troopers before going to boot camp?

You can't convince them that it's not technically food?

my friend's wife (who i'm also friends with) really needs to stop getting drunk and saying shit like "if i weren't married i'd totally get together with you" and "i want your sperm. give me babies that hug like you do." and pawing at me. it's difficult for me because i don't want to hurt her feelings, i don't want to hurt his feelings, and honestly if she weren't married i would totally bone her. but she is so she's off-limits.

and it's not like a "oh you need to stop being alone with her" thing because she does it when he's ten feet away in plain view

That marriage sounds like its over already. You're absolutely right to stay the fuck away and be ready to 'comfort' her when it all implodes :giggidy: no don't do that

I could reasonably argue the point regarding what we are being served at the mess.

The St. Jude storm just made the 28th in UK's West Country a bit more wetter and a bit more windy, the buses got disrupted and some drains overflowed, but at least the power held and nobody died in my area. I feel for the harder hit people in the East of England, Denmark, Belgium, and Holland.

Just passed my driving test! First time, three minor errors. The urge to run around shouting I AM THE ROAD WARRIOR is nigh-uncontrollable.

And on the same topic

I am now the owner of a 2011 Ford Ka, Titanium series, manual transmission.

Took it for a little ride with my father (city / highway).

Plus : very good torque at low speed, Start'N'Stop helping me quit a bit when it comes to restarting after stalling, it's compact, has a good acceleration and is pretty light.

Negatives : it's so light that even at just 100-110 KPH on the highway I've got the impression that the car is floating, and I fear it might not be extremely controllable at higher speeds.

A good city car, but it's possible it's going to be a bit less enjoyable for long trips.

I'll know soon enough, as I'm going to take it on a ~750 km trip from Grenoble to Rochefort.

Good thing I'm not going to be alone for the trip.

It's not a highway car, but it should be safe and stable.

It oftens do that when I put it on 480p.

reload the page, wait for the video to load a bit in whatever youtube thinks is the "optimal" resolution for your connection, and only after, like, 20 seconds of video have been loaded that way, chose the resolution you really want.

Cumbersome, but it seems to work reasonably well.
