basically, strange journey had an incredible amount of wizardry-esque bullshit, which is why i've never gone on to fight the bonus boss or anythingF.J. Prefect, Esq wrote:I remember Asura turning into Asherah

Well I mean this is the franchise where I combined a dragon with a saint and got a snowman
Re: videojuegos
Yeah. I did it mostly due to my alt-it is. When I roll an alt, I want to be gold so I get the extra Boff slots, inventory/bank, respect tokens, etc. So I would have had to buy the character slots, then pay a sub for at least a month, and so on. This way I got four new slots right off the bat, and I'll always have the gold perks so I can level them at my leisure, rather than feeling pressured to make it to 50 in less than a month. Plus the bonus XP will help in that regard, and the Vet rewards are handy. I'll likely use my Vet VA token on a Defiant Retrofit to give my Fleet Avenger cloaking, for instance.Stofsk wrote:Honestly if I had known how much I'd end up spending on STO back when I first started, I would have bought a LTS instead and then the whole zen stipend thing would have built up a considerable amount over the years.RogueIce wrote:Not true. I now have gold plated uniforms I could not get from the C-store.
Actually though, TBH, the Romulan Dress Uniform is pretty boss. The Fed/KDF Vet uniforms are okay, but nothing special.
Of course all those Vet Rewards come in handy. Chimera Destroyer GO!
Now though? I'm not sure. $200 is a bit pricey for one game. At least in one hit. I've spent more than that through but broken up over a couple of years. Especially since it's F2P.

So, I beat F.E.A.R. 2 last night, and I have some questions for anyone else who's played it.
I'm not entirely sure how the, you know what was able to occur during the ending. I mean isn't Alma dead? Like a spirit or something? I'm uncertain as to how someone without a physical body would be able to do......that.

Re: videojuegos
it's the whole reason I got the blands games since it's one of the few non-wii franchises that lets me actually play with people in the same room
Re: videojuegos
What console?
Check out cooptimus, it might help you.

Re: videojuegos
it's just fucking ridiculous
is splitscreen really such a hard thing to add? They've all got the shitty network multiplayer built in so they'll have maps and junk
that's a genuine question by the way: is splitscreen multiplayer particularly hard to add in or ..? Mostly talking about first person shoosters
console is PS3
admittedly I haven't looked too hard recently, mostly I browse the second hand video games shop when I'm in town

Re: videojuegos
ok that is a great site thanks much jovi
Re: videojuegos
In terms of local multiplayer on modern consoles, it's pretty much Wii U or nothing. If you're able to bring your friends over and play with one copy, that's a couple of £60 games sold less for activision/EA/whatever. Can't have that.
Re: videojuegos
Glad I could help!
Split-screening is hard. Take everything you need to do for a single person on a single machine, and then literally double (or quadruple) that, and also do it all while rendering 2x (or 4x) the stuff in half (or a quarter) the screen space. Also, you still only have just the one machine. The PS3 and the 360 are really, really, really old computers, and there are limits on what you can push out while still trying to market things as top tier, current gen, etcetera.
Better to find games that offer local multiplayer without it than with it, like the following:
Diablo 3 on the consoles is a very, very solid game.
If you can find it, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is also extremely strong.

Re: videojuegos
The first Ultimate Alliance is actually better, since it doesn't tie in to the god-awful "Civil War" plot, and I believe it's just as solid in Co-Op as the second.
Re: videojuegos
It's really, really not. The co-op in #2 is a lot better. It's much easier to keep track of characters in #2. Also, the plot is not all that terrible, and deviates WILDLY HAHA OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS HILARIOUS wildly from the civil war plot about halfway through.

Is dead island splitscreen on a single console?
Re: videojuegos
co-op's cool and all (and any suggestions for good co-op play are welcome) but I'm more looking for how to murderr three other guys in the same room with machine guns and stuff
Re: videojuegos
If you had an xbox, all of the Halo games have up to 4-player local shoot-each-other (though I don't think you can take all four on-line).
I don't know diddly about the PS3 though.
