Re: videojuegos
has anyone here played Strike Vector? It looks cheap and possibly fun but I don't want to buy a useless game.

"Multiplayer Only."

Re: videojuegos
For me it would be more along the line of "ugh, lacking a reliable internet connection"
No.
Re: videojuegos
Forza 5 is good fun.
But you what the best thing is about this game? I can drive a 1963 Beetle, and a Love Bug paintjob is readily accessible. Best racing game ever.

Playing the new Wolfenstein game on PC.
When you get over the fact it's over 41GB in size and manage to actually install it, it's pretty fun to play.
The scenario and background are, as expected, really far out there, but this only make it funnier

I'll wait until I finished it, but so far that's a good old-school shooter in the vein of the new Shaeow Warrior (the tongue in cheek being far more subtle and less in your face - if you take the game at face value it could the impression of taking itself seriously).

Yeah, there's a lot of good things said about that game, a surprise hit of 2014, with lots of Thanas trolling Nazi blasting action.

Just checked my steam copy; 45GB.evilsoup wrote:whatover 41GB in size
really?
Re: videojuegos
Well, I specifically bought a physical copy. Which installed only 29GB of the 41GB of the game. Had to download the rest over two weeks, from the base's free wifi.
No.

About six hours? I'm just glad I wasn't at uni halls when I got it, or it would have easily taken over a day.

Re: videojuegos
i remember years back when a game lost points in a pcgamer review because the install size was over 1gb
Re: videojuegos
At least the game's size justify itself with stunning visuals (if run at max settings) and interesting level design (visually, gameplay wise it's corridor-shooting with enough space left for allowing a number of different possible approaches in most situations).
Almost all levels feel unique (the ones in Berlin share similiraties, but that's normal).

storage is also absurdly cheap nowadays so it's not like you regularly need to delete it to make room
Re: videojuegos
Titanfall is also absurdly huge, though in that game's case it's because of uncompressed audio. But yeah, triple-A games are now being made with bluray discs (read: consoles) in mind, so they have no qualms about filling that space up.
It's pretty rare for a game with any kind of marketting to come in at less than 10 gigs these days.

Sadly I think I need to pick up Wolfenstien for 360 as i'm not certain my Intel Core i5-3750K cpu is quite up to running modern games at high settings anymore.

Your processor shouldn't even skip a beat. RAM and GPU are the more likely bottlenecks.

Ram i'm good on with 8 Gigs of DDR 3, GPU is an Nvidia GTX 660 Ti.
Re: videojuegos
That video card should play games just fine, too, as far as I can tell. If you get shitty framerates at Ultra settings, turn off v-synch and anything that says "occlusion" to get frames back.
