Given the buzz I'd seen surrounding "crucible," I wasn't expecting much, but it was pleasantly entertaining. It sucks as a finale to the EU because there are a ton of plot threads left hanging, but the novel itself wasn't bad.

So did anyone else here play Rogue Squadron for the N64? I've been doing it the past few days. I just beat the "Raid on Sullust" level, which was waaaay easier than I remember.

So I'm watching CG Clone Wars with my besty best friend.

We just watched Dooku Captured and Gungan General, which is a two-parter in season one

and Kenobi is in top jackass form and all the interactions are great, but there are at least two huge gaping plot holes I can't resolve.

At the end of Dooku Captured, they switch poisoned drinks around so that they do not get drugged, and it is shown on screen as working.

At the start of Gungan General, it shows that they were drugged by the poisoned drinks and they offered no explanation at all


and at the end of the episode, obiwan's lightsaber appeared out of nowhere for no reason when he was specifically not supposed to have it.

there was a scene from a book I think starring Wedge, where the guys servicing his x-wing were telling him that they had run out of room to paint his kills on his ship.

It's in the 4th X-Wing book, The Bacta War, when they're repainting the squadron's X-Wings since they've gone independent.

The chief mechanic (who I'm fairly sure had been with them for awhile?) says something along the lines of, "Sir, we've run out of room on the X-Wing to paint all of your TIE Fighter kills. Do you want us to group them by squadron or by flight wing?"

And Wedge is all like, "Eh, whatever."
