Indeed wasn't that incident the one that kicked off the first incarnation of here?
Last drama I remember from shep was the 'should I be worried about empty liquor bottles' kerfuffle.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
I'm going to see a doctor next Monday, because of IBS symptoms that are slow to disappear after a week and weird, firm "pressing" back sensations. May have to fork over money for a body scan. I feel better than I did l, but a bit drowsy at the minute. My urine is clear and I haven't lost appetite. Feeling very anxious.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Thanks.
My stomach pains mostly vanished after drinking nothing but water since the Friday before, my No. 2s quickly went back to normal from light yellow after a couple of days (first flag), with the odd sensations in my back causing the most worry currently - not pain as such, but like human fingers pressing and punching around my spinal area that only fades at times I shift around or sit in a more upright, comfortable position, and cost me sleep last night (amplified by the anxiety).
I felt the back punching since last Sunday.
I really, really hope it's stones at worse and not the Big C. And I did have a heavy head cold virus the preceeding week or so.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
My gut and back problems have subsided, after a proper full night's sleep, but I'm feeling more oddly weak in the limbs in recent days and I can't fully attest to a busy day, disrupted sleep, and anxiety. I'm worrying my parents the physical warning signs my body is giving me for many days (but I had a cold virus that lasted a week beforehand).
I fucking must get a proper physical examination in the next few weeks, because I have a very bad feeling about this.

Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
I feel moderately better again in of myself today thank you, I suspect a gut virus, but I want to rule stuff out and now permanently change my lifestyle and vaguely recall suffering similar symptoms a few years back (you're only given one set of digestive organs, I'm fearful of chronic problems in my gut eventually becoming terminal, because detection and treatment of digestive based cancers remain wholly inadequate).
Anyway if the worse comes to the worse at least I'll be ducking out of the Presidential election and Brexit bullshit.

Here, Jovi, two of the videos I took during the perturbator concert:
Reznyck & Perturbator, on Shock Doctrine (Perturbator Remix) => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVOofCTya0c
Perturbator, on one of the new album's track I don't know the name of yet ( https://soundcloud.com/perturbator/pert ... bum-teaser ) => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cO2yx-AIrI

So I watched the pilot of the Full House sequel series (Fuller House) out of curiosity. And now here I am, having binge watched it up to episode 8.
I have no regrets

Who's in the New York area?
I plan on visiting New York City for a week this summer with my boyfriend. I know ADR is in NY state, but afaik he's in Watertown, the ass-end opposite way of where I wanna go.
I dunno.
Anyway if you're passing in the area around the 20 to 28th of July (dates not definitive but that's the rough timeslot), maybe we could arrange a meetup? We'll see.

I won't be, but I would like to hear about what you eat if you end up going to one of the more well known restaurants. Or even one of the not so well known restaurants if it's really good.
One of the Ray's Pizza places, Russ and Daughters, Katz's, Papaya King, etc.

Aye. Work brought me down to the city once last year though and might again, but usually I'm up in the nice north.Oxymoron wrote:I plan on visiting New York City for a week this summer with my boyfriend. Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
adr doesn't live in Utah?
Re: Testing Episode IV: A New Lament
Gah, I don't want to live there. The mountains are nice, but the Mormons are insufferable. Some notable exceptions, of course, I like a number of the individual families and people I know out there, but the overall culture is eek and just too crowded for me.
i don't love the weather either, nor the streets nor the weird western stuff
I might be visiting them all again in the next few months tho.
