Re: videojuegos
I got it and like, it looks good, it plays well, the concept is half decent and executed well, but after an hour and a half I'm bored out of my skull.
I wish I'd bought Disgaea 5 instead.

Re: videojuegos
I've gone on a retro kick and set up a RetroPi. It's scraping the metadata for every 16-bit Nintendo game now and a USB SNES controller is on its way.
I've also dusted off the N64 and damn, Jet Froce Gemini is as good as I remember. Awesome music too.

Were you playing in a squad? Playing with people who are at higher ranks than you to make it more difficult? Did you venture into PvP? It's a fun ass game.F.J. I've been playing my 3DS lately. Lego Lord of the Rings and Super Mario World are fantastic. The latter is a nostalgia fest for me. I also can say that the original Pokemon games still hold up well.
Re: videojuegos
So even at 75% off (with one DLC exception for some reason) getting the full list of The Sims 3 and its expansions is still $100+ on Steam.
I think I'll just keep waiting and see if Origin offers it for free like they did The Sims 2

Re: videojuegos
I tried playing the sims 2 on my computer like a year ago. The free origin version.
It was unplayable. Kept crashing.

No.

That's weird. Is it new? Old? A Mac?Oxymoron wrote:I tried playing the sims 2 on my computer like a year ago. The free origin version.

I've not had issues but then this is a 2007-era laptop so within the general timeframe of the game being released.

Metal Gear? Can't be!
Seriously. I'm not seeing a robot. Or tactical espionage action.
Never got into that 'operations' shite.
edit: I got a ps3 for mgs4, not got a ps4 or xbone for mgs v or me:andromeda

Re: videojuegos
SRIV, is like SR3 to me. It's a flawed and worse than its predecessor and yet somehow I'm still playing and more or less enjoying it.
It's still a stripped down version of sr3 melded with a mediocre clone of inFAMOUS though

Re: videojuegos
SR4 is probably the best super-hero game I've ever played, which is weird for a series that started off as a tongue in cheek GTA rip-off.
I prefer the story and narrative of SR2 to everything else in the series, but I have to acknowledge that SR3 and 4 are just way, way more fun to actually play.

Re: videojuegos
Saints Row as a series is kind of like Deadpool. It started out as little more than a clone of a rival product, but slowly developed an identity of its own as it embraced the ridiculousness of its concept and focused on being silly.
That said, I think the developers of the Saints Row games did pull off something very interesting with its characters. Many of them somehow manage to be both cartoonish caricatures and well-rounded characters with their own aspirations and fears. And the level of customization for the Boss/President in voice, appearance, dress, mannerisms, etc., make them feel like fully a product of the player's imagination despite the story they are in being essentially linear.

I know i'm late to the bandwagon, but god damn Titanfall is fucking awesome.
I really needed my fix of awesome mech action too, since Macross Delta turned out to be completely fucking lame.
