Cut it out for a little bit and see if the cough goes away, sometimes drinking milk when I'm sick makes my cough worse too. Something to do with the phlegm/mucous.Zod wrote:Oh goody. I haven't touched a drop for a couple weeks, it's gotten better but it's still not gone. It only flared up after going on a chocolate milk-kick though, and it doesn't feel like a normal cold or bug.Phantasee wrote:Cut it out for a little bit and see if the cough goes away, sometimes drinking milk when I'm sick makes my cough worse too. Unless you're allergic to milk, it won't affect mucus in the least.Phantasee wrote:Cut it out for a little bit and see if the cough goes away, sometimes drinking milk when I'm sick makes my cough worse too. Something to do with the phlegm/mucous.

It's like you feel the need to remind people what a fucking dumbass you are

Do you know how hard it is to make cheese without milk ?
No.

I don't get these problems when eating cheese.Oxymoron wrote:Do you know how hard it is to make cheese without milk ?
(Incidentally, I had largely been milk free for years and only started drinking it again recently. So going back off = no big.)

Lactose intolerance ?
Doesn't the fermentation process that allow the creation of cheese break-down the lactose proteins ?

Doubtful. My non-biological aunt is lactose intolerant and she couldn't even handle cheese.Oxymoron wrote:Lactose intolerance ?

My mom uses it because she's allergic to milk. Not lactose intolerant, straight-up allergic to milk.
The take-n-bake pizza place is cool about it, they let her bring in her own soy cheese and they'll use it in the pizza.

now that's service
we used to let this super stressed out and disheveled lady with thinning gray hair (cuz she had to take care of her mom) use our wine fridge while her own was broken
one of the managers kinda hated her

Re: The Testingtard's Lament: Boo-Hoo-in' Revolution
i've been drinking milk every day since the day i was born
it is the only thing i drink most days
now back in the day the old folks would make kool-aid for dinner time
and kool-aid is ok but since i left high school i transitioned to milk for dinner too
i should make some kool aid just for old time's sake

Back to New York for a couple days next month, wee!
On the upside, I managed to find a cheap hotel that's better than a hostel. On the downside, some of the reviews make me nervous.

And I've now been mandatorily roped into being on the committee for drafting a 5 year technology "vision" for one of my schools.
I'm probably going to be volunteered again at my other school, too.
Questor, how are you handling this thing?
