Man, you Abrahamic-centric people are funny. Y'all the same to me: Jews, Christians, Muslims.

So by next few minutes I meant who the fuck knows because I still don't know what's going on. If this was anyone else I'd have ended it myself, but I can sympathize with her confusion and internal conflict. Family is a funny thing. They want what's best for you, but it you're worried they won't accept your grown up decision are they really enabling you to live your life?
The prohibition on pork made sense when there was no refrigeration cause of disease and shit, but these days not so much. A Jordanian coworker of mine eats beef but not pork because "Pigs eat their shit. Why would I eat an animal that eats its own shit!?" I say hey, as long as I don't get e coli I'mma eat the bacon, but he's OK in my book. I'm guessing he don't eat dog meat either, because THEY eat their shit too. Fire is goooodddd.

On the impending maybe breakup: man, you have some complicated emotional shit going down Phant. Hope you make a decision you can live with. (yes I ended a sentence with a preposition, sue me.) Tequila helps but if you take too much of the breakup juice you won't touch it for years. Don't ask me how I know that.

EDIT: "It was like eating an orgasm" - The Spartan

I so have to sig that give permission plz
I know about the reasoning behind the rules, I was commenting on your word choice: you're pretty narrow-minded when you think the only other side is just another Abrahamic religion. There's a whole world full of religions with no relation to those three big ones.

Thanks for the advice.
the fact that he brought it up at all is completely fucking bizarre and irrelevant

So it's over as of last night. That was the most drawn out break up ever. I can't even be mad at her though.

Hasn't really hit me yet, maybe.

Strak is that "he" me? Let's not talk about me. And way to work racism into a completely unrelated topic...bogan.

Phant, sounds like a relatively amicable breakup. Not a liquor binge type...enjoy some wine or beer.

As I recall Phant usually drinks pretty much no alcohol at all.

Also, sorry to hear that, Phant. Even though it didn't last longer, at least you hopefully got some pretty cool memories on the way.

you can tell a lot about someone by their coping mechanisms

Looks like insulting some Americans could be a coping mechanism for certain other people.

Nice defense mechanisms

Go oppress some non-whites instead of encouraging people to do dumb shit because it's macho

that's not the point, dude

drinking alcohol when you're upset or as a coping mechanism is pretty much the worst idea

binge drinking is the worst kind of drinking

hilariously after you waste all that money and ruin your body you'l just think about it and deal with it

you can totally cut that lameass masculine posturing step out

oh i know drinking when you're down isn't smart, but it happens. anyway Phant doesn't sound near enough upset to go get blotto and do something stupid. hence the beer and wine suggestion instead of the spirits.

You can drink more as a nation and not have massive numbers of alcoholics. An alcoholic depends on booze, most people who drink aren't that.

I don't think you know what a drinking problem is

contributing to the perception that it's appropriate for men to respond to emotions by drinking heavily you are literally part of the problem

It's telling you say 'it happens' without any understanding of why
Ps the why is you

I don't drink, no. Never have.

It's weird, you think you found the one, but when it's over it doesn't hurt like you thought it would. Or it will later. I dunno. I'm not feeling much right now.

Appreciate all the advice, guys.
