Yay my sick dog pooped! No blockage and she's not thrown up in 2 days. Turns out it was a bad bad bad case of gastritis. Her poor stomach lining was so inflamed that you could see the swelling on xray.

Man I really wanna sue the doctor from the ER visit a week before my guts imploded but I'm afraid an attorney will want me to go after all the doctors, including my surgeon from the original hernia repair surgery. Would be a dick move since motherfucker saved my life and IMO didn't do anything wrong the first time. Can't help it if scar tissue forms and blocks an intestine. You can misread a fucking x-ray though and then treat me like some drug seeking scumbag.

In other news, Willow (my sick Shepherd) is doing much better. So relieved, I think losing one at 6 months would have destroyed me. But she's up and rampaging around the house like her normal self and not throwing up.

you can just tell your lawyer to not sue the original doctor

just don't let him do it, he has to do what his client asks for, right?

Yeah he then he can also refuse to take the case because it's not a big enough payday to just go after the one doctor and possibly the hospital itself.

That's great news! Now you can focus on fixing your stuff, and maybe finding another lawyer.

eh, it was eventful for me but i'm sure it wouldn't be too interesting for anyone else

basically i was in the position of suddenly having to take responsibility for a large group of fucked up people for a long and stressful night

it was nothing truly extraordinary or anything

You did well then. Its always a fun moment when people who were your friend suddenly reveal themselves to be eager rapists when the opportunity to rape a drunken acquaintance presents itself.

like the rat dude posted a multi-page screed yelling about kids getting piercings and tattoos and wearing baggy clothes

on monday

Well, when I see shorts down by their ass, they may as well wear jeans.

Yeah...having and being pro-gun is all I really have in common with them. They live in a different world.

I fucked up. Asked her out again. I told myself it's just testing the waters, to see if she can tolerate my company yet, I just want to see a movie with a friend and I know she'd like it, we're supposed to be friends now, right? But she said yes, as long as other people are there. That feeling I got, in the middle of my chest? I guess it's kinda like stitches tearing open. I told her straight that if she's not comfortable with it, it's fine, we don't have to go do anything. She just repeated that other people should be there with us. I've been getting asked out and groped and basically receiving a pile of attention from other, available, girls, way more than I've ever gotten before, and I know why, I'm probably the most attractive I've ever been, but I say no to every single one of them or brush them off, and now I realize I'm just hurting myself by holding out this hope. Apparently I'm really charming when I'm trying to cover up how I feel inside. Fuck. I thought we were good, we were talking again, texting regularly again, she comes over to my house to hang out with everyone (my sister got her wisdom teeth pulled last weekend), it wasn't awkward between us. I've just been lying to myself, I guess. I should have just gone out with someone else already, maybe I wouldn't feel this way. My heart jumps in my throat every time she texts me back right now.

I feel nauseous.

Uh, "As long as other people are there"? Doesn't take a genius to interpret that as "I don't trust you."

I think she doesn't trust herself more than, or as much as she doesn't trust me.

Well Phant, I guess you could be all Lost Boys tough and blow her off and go home alone.

Moral victory, right?
