Nice! You've got the Eddie Bauer edition? I didn't even know they had full time AWD in 96, it's all good then.

So, while out performing more research on products that I plan to pick up in the coming months, a salesman approached me and asked me what I was doing writing things down, obviously suspicious. I told him that I'm not one to buy expensive items on a whim without any type of thought and research put into it. I want to weigh the pros and cons, etc. He looked at me funny and walked away to speak with another co-worker, in a paranoid manner.

It was pretty funny, but I left after that because I'm not going to buy anything from a store where such activity is frowned upon. What was I doing? Scoping out the place to Michael Mann it?

Nobody walks around stores with a notebook. So yeah, they were right to be a little suspicious of you.

FUCK iPhone keyboard lags like crazy, what the hell? This is annoying.

y'know how generally if you hit a field and start typign it eventually catches up, and even if the keyboard is lagging you're not losing any typing

yeah that doesn't happen anymore :V

That's what is pissing me off right now, I'm about ready to give up on organizing this event via text and email. I can't even post on forums easily, what good is this phone then?

Ugh just fuck everything.

on websites i find if you wait for the browser to stop loading (or stop it manually) it's okay

i typcially start typing as soon as the field is rendered which is apparently not so good these days

are you having problems in other apps too?

What's funny is that I was only writing down model numbers so I could go home and find reviews and calibration settings so when I go back to that store to actually buy one, I can test those settings out. I was planning on buying from that particular store because you can haggle and get it cheaper than Amazon. Plus, it makes returns easier. But no more.

That's because people are stupid and are easily swayed by salesmen.

Email is not as bad, I messaging is a bit of a pain (good work on the spellcheck there guys!) but the biggest annoyance is with web stuff. Forums like this, fucking google, the stupid web app we have to use for the student clubs I'm in (fuck you OrgSync), they all pain me.

Facebook is a complete piece of shit now. It's like they don't know how to fix bugs, just introduce new features and bugs. Click "comment"? Here's your news feed, that's what you wanted, right? Fuck you.

Not really, it was a lot better, if basic. But it's gotten so bad now…

The Fb app is slow as fuck on my iPod connected to a wireless network, with a full signal.

Also, maybe someone can explain this: sometimes when I start an app and start doing my shit, it shuts down and I am taken back to teh home screen. What causes this?

the paid apps (ie non-fb ones) are fine, sherry uses one and it's fast, stable, has all the website features etc

it's like 2 years of feature addition for the official one and you only recently became able to do some shit :V

The music app has crashed on me once, and so has Safari. Perhaps I should do a clean restart.

word

You start to notice something fishy when the non-mobile version of the website a. loads faster even over 2G b. looks better (ie facebook-shit, not facebook app-shit) and c. actually has the basic functionality the app lacks.

Google Plus' app is nice tho.

My speech on morality for atheists went well. I earned a 99/100. Many classmates looked confused throughout the entire speech. I dumbed that shit down! One in particular seemed appalled (Christian). Hooray me.
